Making a Peanut Shelling Machine


All steps must be completed to ensure proper operation of machine.

Pouring the Rotor

Step 1
Locate the rotor mold.
Step 2
Place metal clamp against tabs on both sides of mold, then tighten clamp. (If clamp is missing, use twisted rope)
Step 3
Wipe inner face of the outer rotor mold with cooking grease. This ensures an easy release of the concrete from the mold.
Step 4
Locate inner rotor mold and plastic membrane.
Step 5
Wipe smooth surface of the inner rotor mold with cooking grease.
Step 6
Place plastic membrane sheet over surface of mold.
Step 7
Install shortest threaded rods with nut on both sides of mold.
Step 8
Insert shaft into center hole threaded end first.
Step 9
Assemble the stool by attaching legs.
Step 10
Place outer rotor mold on stool.
Step 11
Slide inner rotor mold onto shaft.
Step 12
Spin wing nut onto shaft thread.
Step 13
Fit wooden clamp to exposed shaft, keeping inner rotor mold pressed into the outer rotor mold.
Step 14
Pour concrete to bottom of inner rotor mold lip.
LET STAND 24 HOURS.
